I used KC Cho in my last placement. A friend of mine also used him at the same time. Within 2 weeks, I had interviews with every major firm in the city and had 3 offers within 2 weeks of interviewing. I found him extremely resourceful and helpful in negotiating compensation packages.

I have also used KC, and I like him. One thing I appreciate is, I have told him what I am looking for, and other recruiters, too. While the other recruiters still call with things that I am not interested in, KC always seems to call and tell me that he is just checking in and ask if my interests have changed, because he has some leads in my area that are for my level, but are not what I told him I wanted. I appreciate the fact that I do not need to exlain to him for the fourth time that I am not interested in jobs A B and C for the same reasons I was not interested in jobs X Y and Z that he called about two months ago.

Some of the other recruiters I have worked with, I just read to them from the same sheet every time to explain my ideal job description. Are you too lazy to write it down??? You make a lot of money off of me, can't you at least pay attention.

If you think this sounds like a minor detail, wait till you take a vacation day to go to an interview, and 15 minutes in, you realize that this is a job which you are not at all interested in.
