Not quite a fan, but I was enjoying his alternative history to the civil war. My library seems to have discontinued the Harry Turtledove full employment plan or he's stopped writing them. Yeah, I enjoy reading some of his stuff. For that kind of fiction I prefer Zelazny (is that russian enough for the anally fixated out there?) but he's stopped releasing new books since he died.

No, he's still going.

The alternate civil war storyline which started with "How Few Remain" has grown to seven books at this point:
The Great War: American Front, Walk in Hell, Breakthroughs
American Empire (the interwar period): Blood & Iron, The Center Cannot Hold, The Victorious Opposition.

I understand a WW2 series continuing the line is in progress, with the first volume expected in hardcover this year (I plan on waiting for the paperback if I can't find it in my library).

The first 2 books of American Empire were very boring; I didn't even read most of them, just skimmed them looking for the interesting parts. But Victorious Opposition is fascinating. It shows a Nazi-like President taking over the CSA.

I'm a fan. Got introduced to Guns of the South during college, then read the Worldwar series. I like his alternate history works, though I suppose I'll get to his other works sometime.

I am looking forward to the Settling Accounts series, and to see the grisly fate awaiting the Hitler-analogue leading the CSA.

One website announces a followup to the Colonization series called Homeward Bound. I like the Worldwar/Colonization series, and that title intrigues me.
