Default SWIFTIES caught in another lie

Military documents cast doubt on Kerry critic's

Quote:
The newly obtained records of Larry Thurlow show that he, like Kerry, won a Bronze Star for the same engagement and that Thurlow's citation said he came under ''constant small arms fire,'' the newspaper reported Thursday.

Thurlow, also like Kerry, commanded a Navy Swift boat during the war. Thurlow swore in an affidavit last month that Kerry was ''not under fire'' when he rescued Lt. James Rassmann from the Bay Hap River

What idiots.

Lying idiot Bush backers. Saw a korean war vet on my TV last night (I think he was at a Kerry speech and they got his 2 cents worth), unconvinced about Kerry's record. "I just don't see how you can win a silver star, a bronze star, and three purple hearts in 4 and a half months." Um, how about this: He wasn't hiding in the national guard in alababama doing cocaine and asking girls to get abortions like your guy, he was fighting for his country and kicking some ass. WTF?

I think you are proving that Thurlow should not be President.

Why because he is a liar? It's sad that we can't all be in agreement that these kind of ads/attacks add nothing to the process. This includes comparing Bush to Hitler etc

If Thurlow ran mainly (if not solely) on vietnam service, as Kerry appears to be, then it turned out that Vietnam was not all it was cracked up to be, he probably should not win.

Thanks for not answering my question and inserting the latest talking point of the right into your gibberish.

here's the point tda, I know of people who were killed and relatives had to petition to get the purple heart, you aren't supposed to get them for scratches, if you had a serious injury you would be laid up in a hospital for 4 months so the recovery time means you don't get 3 in 4 months, get it now?

I get that this is a non-issue to just about everybody but you. Maybe you can start another thread on the topic.

A wound is defined as an injury to any part of the body from an outside force or agent sustained under one or more of the conditions listed above A physical lesion is not required, however, the wound for which the award is made must have required treatment by a medical officer and records of medical treatment for wounds or injuries received in action must have been made a matter of official record.

Based on this criteria Kerry qualifies.
