Default How can I find the other 30%?

An ad claims that 70% of the drivers that switched to XYZ insurance saved money.

The other 30% were such bad drivers that they couldn't find another carrier.

Of course this is misleading...unless you're forced to switch, why would you switch if you WON'T save money?

You get the quote...it's more, ok goodbye. And you stick with what you have.

So duh! If you switched it's because you saved money.

The other 30% must have switched because they knew they would get better customer service and a free Rand McNally U.S. Atlas.

Could be that some of the 30% moved and their old carrier didn't cover them anymore.

That's what I was saying, these were in a sense forced to change carriers. This (me having to switch) actually happened to me when I moved a few months back with my auto insurance. Price can't really be compared because I changed coverage as well.

Could be that the person switched AND increased coverage (higher limits, lower deductible, etc) at the same time.
Switched to a more expensive carrier with better claims service.
And, already mentioned many times, forced due to a move of cancellation of coverage.
Switched to a carrier that was more expensive than their LAST policy, but not more than their renewal would have been?
