Default Read through time

I thought I saw a post where someone said that people were leaving the room during the read-through time, but I can't find it. Did this really happen? If so, I think it's a clear violation of exam rules and needs to be reported.

Yes, it happened where I took the exam. I don't work there, so I don't know who it was. All I know is he was sitting behind me.

I actually left the room during the read through time. Tell me, what is the difference between that and leaving during normal exam time. We are allowed to leave the room to use the restroom, which is what I did.

The rules state: "You may leave the room if you need to use the restroom, but only one person may leave the room at a time."

That's what I did.

Ditto. After 10 minutes I'd read everything and had worked out a couple problems in my head -- so I decided to go to it.

I could be wrong, but I believe that even though you are allowed to go to the restroom, you cannot leave the room for any reason for 30 minutes. I only half pay attention to the instructions, so they could have changed that rule.

That went out with leisure suits. In this enlightened age you are only "kidnapped" for the last five minutes of the test and the time it takes for the procters to find their... materials.
