Default French against the US war.... interesting

Quote:
A French citizen has been identified among insurgents killed by US forces in Iraq, a French newspaper reports.
The 19-year-old, named as Redouane, is said to have died in a US air raid on Falluja on 17 July, says Le Figaro.

He is the first French national known to have died fighting against the US-led coalition.

Tunisian-born Redouane, who belonged to an Islamic group in France, is thought to have travelled to Iraq from his home in Paris via Syria earlier this year.

Guess they aren't on our side after all.

We're not on our side either.

One of the most unexpected stories in the war on terrorism is that of American Taliban fighter John Walker.

Walker was a Taliban soldier, a part of the Islamic militia that ruled Afghanistan until U.S.-led forces defeated them in November. The U.S. military captured him during November airstrikes.

Only difference is that John Walker is viewed as guilty of treason. Whereas, the French citizen Redouane is merely viewed as resisiting an action that his government did not support.

Another difference is that Redouane was killed.

Nice try. One French citizen and one American citizen, both fighting against us. Game, set, match.

You are right, but you haven't yet realized that Kerry is not on your side either. Kerry is on the side of the French too.

Of course, he wasn't convicted of treason.
