That's actually one of my top 10 favorite sci fi movies! One reason is because they did time travel "right."

Yup. I was pleasantly (well, kind of... it was depressing) surprised

Started R. F. Delderfield's "God is an Englishman". A long time ago I read and enjoyed his "To Serve Them All My Days", but I never got around to reading this one before.

"Happy" by Alex Lemon is looking pretty great so far. College life when there's SOMETHING WRONG WITH YOUR BRAIN.

Also, I'm a big Bruce Willis fan.

And to compare, Stu is an even bigger Bruce Willis fan than I am. He will watch =anything= with Bruce Willis in it.

I have more refined tastes. Such as Hudson Hawk.

Yes - guilty as charged. Willis = fun. And I'm one of the few who also likes Hudson Hawk.

I can see it being a really good book if you are into mythology and thus understand all the references. I'm not, so while I get some of the references, most do not make sense to me even after reading a portion of the wikipedia article. (Already spoiled part of it for myself, so I had to quit reading.)

I'm about 3/4 through. I'm kind of thinking that if I have to read a wikipedia article to understand it, it's not that great. I mean it's masterful, but it comes across as just weird because I'm not able to read between the lines.
