Still listening to The Great Influenza. Close to the end, I think.

In print (large print, b/c that's what they happened to have at the library) I'm reading The Cat Who Played Post Office. I love those Cat Who books for mindless entertainment.

So do I, though the current one (The Cat Who Had Sixty Whiskers) was a bit of a downer at the end. A major character was written out.

I have heard rumors that she is no longer writing the books (too elderly, too ill, etc.) and someone else is writing under her name. If true, perhaps they didn't care for the character and wanted to try something new. I'll probably still keep reading them, though.

Over the top like his show. If you enjoy his humor on the show, you'll probably like it. I'm only on chaper 2, started last night. It looks like quick read though so I'll probably be looking for somethis else soon.

So a good bus or plane read? I'll have to pick it up then.

Someone (or more than one) from the AO recommended the saga A Song of Fire and Ice...I just finished A Game of Thrones, and started A Clash of Kings today at lunch...love it!!! Very different fantasy novel...almost feels like historical fiction, as there's a lot less magic, and the some of the major characters actually die! Wow!
