EA-2B study material

I'm starting to study for EA-2B. Does anyone have any suggestions for study material? Actex vs. ASM?

Also, where's the best place to get a copy of the IRS codes? Is it worth reading these? Should I just concentrate on the study manuals?

What about the book by Sal Tripodi mentioned in the JBEA catalog? Is that worth the $300?
