Default ALFA: XXX and AXXX

Has anyone tried to setup ALFA to calculate the XXX and AXXX reserves (SpecPrem version, not Shadow Account)? If so, what were all of the variables you used?

Right now, I think nlgUlSpecPrem, nlgGspDiscFac, nlgSpecPremPeriod and then the factors (XXXQvalscale and so on), interest rate (nlgintrate), and the descriptive variables (such as nlgDesignType).

Correct me if I am wrong here, but it appears to me once the above are coded properly for XXX, AXXX is all ALFA calculations. I don't think ALFA explains how to build things very well and I am pretty new to ALFA.

Two really useful all-purpose responses. Use one or both:

Dear JMO,
Somehow I don't think getting beat by 5.5 years counts as being ninja'd.
Sincerely,

I'll agree, for all things ALFA, contact their help either via phone or email. Very quick response and they know their stuff. It isn't someone reading a script in India, it is a collection of very knowledgeable people.
