Default R. I. P. Jack Buck

I grew up listening to Mr. Buck as the voice of the Cardinals. He was a true gentleman of the old school, who will be missed.

Mr. Buck was never one of my local announcers, but he made one of the most memberable calls in baseball history:
Quote:
Gibson . . . swings! And a fly ball to deep right field! This is gonna be a home run! Unbelievable! A home run for Gibson! And the Dodgers have won the game, 5-4! I don't believe what I just saw! . . . I don't believe what I just saw!
