I hate the sound of my own voice. I hate hearing myself talk on video or audio recordings because I just sound like such a moran.

Most people hate the sound of their own voice. That's because you are comparing it to the way you hear yourself when you speak. When you speak you hear your voice resonating through your head and it sounds pretty good. Then you hear a recording of your voice and it's not the same.

None of the voices in my head sound like a recording of my speaking voice.
