You know these new fans that are out that don't use blades? Just a circle that somehow moves air? I wonder if anyone (particularly the people at Dyson) have considered if they can be used in wind farms to generate power more efficiently than the big bladed fans.

Do they have to be round or is that just aesthetic? If the shape is changeable, these things could go practically anywhere.
