Damn, what can you do?!? I guess I move AI on the turn, check-raising. I know you are worried about QQ-AA or a set, but as you see, any under card comes out...you're committed to calling an AI anyway and hoping to be good. So if you will call an AI if no Q,K or A comes out, why not move AI on turn? Maybe he has AT, KTs, QTs or JTs. If he folds on the turn, I'm still happy to win that big a pot so early in the SnG.

Would you have folded if an A, K or Q hits on the river and he moves AI or are you already committed to call and have to hope he didn't chase it?

I was hoping to get to the river as cheap as possible. When he just called the flop and bet out on the turn I REALLY feared a set. If I know the guy is a solid player, then I prolly fold the turn. I definitely fold the river to a solid player. I have no idea about him, so I call based on the average $100 SNG player.

So why not AI on turn then and try to take it down there? You're basically saying you are committed to see then end of this hand.

B/c if he has a worse hand I want to make more money (he might fold to an AI and I give him a chance to bluff with a worse hand) and if he has a better hand, then I hope he leaves me with some chips (he might not put me AI).

Yeah, I understand that, really I do. But I think if you are committed to call the river reagrdless, you're looking to gamble, sort of. So be the first one in. I'd just be thinking I have to find out right now if my overpair is good, and if not, and he has what I fear he has, he's setting me in anyway on the river, and I'm calling and losing anyway.

The way the turn went down I don't think he was committed on the river. If the river shows a Q K or A and the guy bets 600 I'm out of that hand. 5s I probably call.

I would have tried a check raise all-in on the flop. If he checks too then I'm betting medium the rest of the hand to keep him in 'cause he's got **** too. If he bets then I think he's got less than me but good draws and I'm pushing all in.
