I am looking for a Probabilities of Risk Management book by Hassett & Stewart that someone would be willing to give away or sell. Thanks! If I pass maybe I'll give the person who provides the book a small percentage of my raise... or maybe not

Hi folks,
I've gone through almost every problem of the Averbach & Mehta Guide (except for the exams) in about 5-6 weeks and found it to be useful in terms of the vast array of examples demonstrated. But with about 7 weeks left till exam1, it feels like the guide is too short conceptually in some Stats. areas. I'm looking for something to tie in those gaps because i havn't had any rigourous experience with probability & stats before. But maybe i'm picky because I'd like a thorough command of every square inch of the material? So anyways, would the Probabilities of Risk Management book by Hassett & Stewart be the right tool? And is anyone selling theirs used? Thanks, Kvit kvitlim@socal.rr.com |

I think you should definitely get the Probability for Risk Management book. I had used the Averbach & Mehta manual for the last exam (in which I failed) but I really believe I would've passed if I had used the prob book with it. I had not had a class in probability and it explains things pretty well and has good exercises. Surely, someone has a book out there for you. Good luck!
