Default Temple/Averbach's SOA Exam M Manual

Did you use the SOA Exam M Study Manual for Bowers' 3-11,15 (Life Contingencies) by Temple/Averbach?
1. Did you find it effective?
2. Does it contain a large no. of past SOA exam questions (even before 2000)?
3. Does it contain formula summaries?

It seems as though the Temple/Averbach's Study Manual for Exam M is unpopular among Exam M takers. Is it not that useful?
