Default VEE Credit

Has anyone submitted the form and a college transcipt for VEE credit and gotten credit for it? Does the society send you something in the mail to tell you this? How long it take to get your VEE credit?

I haven't done it for college credit, but the SoA should send you a transcript that includes your VEE credit once they've processed your app. Probably takes about 6 weeks but that's a guess.

I'm not sure. I applied for my college course to be on the list. They said that it will take 8 weeks to process the application. It's been over 8 weeks but the society hasn't published the new list of courses that qualify. Does anyone know how frequenly they update the list, or when they're planning on updating it?

it currently says July 14th, but I remember it having a June date before that. My guess would be that they update it whenever they have a reasonable amount of changes to make it cost-effective to update. I'm also waiting for a college course to be accepted so I can send off my applications for all my VEE..

I just sent out an application yesterday to get the economics courses at my school approved. I believe that the application says that they will respond to the school contact person (who is usually a professor) within 8 weeks. I am assuming that I will not get a response, but the school contact person will. So you might want to check with the person that you put down as the school contact if you have been waiting more than 8 weeks.

Default Got my response

Thanks! I actually got a letter stating that my credit had gotten approved and that on my next transcript it will show there that I have the according credit. Only took maybe a month or so to get the letter.

it also says that if you submit a class on behalf of a university, you will also get a response

SWEET!!! I got confirmation today that my class is a go. And it only took 10 weeks. Now all I need is $100 and all of my VEE is done. That's going in the mail tomorrow. Any bets on how long it will take for the SOA to get back to me?? My money is on 7 weeks, right before the exams...

That's awesome Shake. I think I'm going to check back in w/the SOA around the beginning of October.
