Sorry for the late start. The game is simple. Pick a team each week. You cannot pick the same team more than once. If on two occassions, the team you pick wins its matchup, you are eliminated from the pool.
Obviously, we missed the first week. To enter the pool, submit your Week 2 pick publicly before Sunday Noon Eastern. For future weeks, you must always make your pick by Sunday Noon ET, or Thursday Noon ET if you want to pick the Thursday night game. If you fail to make a pick in time, two things will happen: 1) It will count as though your team won its game. 2) The location closest to 'A' whose team you haven't picked will now no longer be available for you to pick. E.G. Arizona Cardinals, Atlanta Falcons, Baltimore Ravens, etc . . . Contestants who fail to enter a pick for week 2 can start week 3; they will be considered to have taken Arizona in Week 2 and to have been victorious. In addition to my own pick, I will be simulating a computer player. This player will always take the team most favored to lose in each week that it has not already selected. Ties will be broken by ite preference to take a home team and than by location closest to 'A'. Otherwise, one entry per real life contestant. |

Sounds good. I guess the right strategy is to pick teams with bad records, so I'll try:
Week 2: Arizona (despite your warnings about people whose records may show a week 2 pick of Arizona and a win) Week 3: Tennessee |

ESPN does one where you pick the winners. Gandalf's farkin' Lambs made sure I exited that one early. Me and probably most of the other 60% that blew out.
