Oh crap -- Yankees are 5-0 under Torre when they lose Game 1 of the ALDS, 2-3 when they win. Wait till next year, I guess....

Yeah, but Moose is available for Game 5. Sit back and enjoy it.

Nice start, Yankees! Isn't Colon considered to be a CY Young favorite?

4 straight 2 out hits in the first. Very nice!

CTM

When the Yankees get "4 straight 2 out hits in the first" and nothing for the rest of the game, it's skill, not luck.

When the Red Sox finish the season playing over 500 ball and lose out in a 10-9 tiebreaker to the Yankees, its the choke of the season.

You Yankee guys are really affected by the no series wins in the 21st century, aren't you? I almost hope the Yankees win #27 just so all you fans won't start jumping off buildings of something.

Bit of a fluke. I'd still much rather be up 1-0 then down 1-0.

LAA had advantage tonight with Lackey (excellent 2nd half) over Wang. Not to say the Yanks can't take this one but pitching favors LAA. Still Moose pleasantly surprised me w/ 5 2/3 shoutout innings. I was worried w/ Leiter & Sturze, thought that was LAAs chance to get back in the game.

W/ Johnson & Chacon set to throw in the Bronx I still like Yanks chances to end this in 4.

Why do sports fans live on the East Coast? Any die-hard Yankee fans going to record the game, and zip through it in the morning? That's what I'd do.

Fortuantely for this die hard the game starts at 7 PM. Unfortuantely we have a baptism class to attend from 7 - 8 so guess I miss the 1st 3 innings.
