I'm reading this book
http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg...books&n=507846 and think it would be a good one to discuss as "we" go. Anyone else want to join in? I'm only on page 30 and would be willing to hold up if a few others want to join in. |

Mods, please move this thread to the book club forum. Thanks!
PS Mulan - Why should we read it? It's not like we have any idea what we're talking about the rest of the time. Why fix what ain't broke? |

I'm bored let's start talking about the book.
I think it was a stupid book. The premises were based on assumptions that couldn't stand up with leg braces. Bush is dumb. |

Good idea, but I've already read a book.

and 2. I said I'd hold up if I got some takers. The book is very good about the history of marriage. Very well researched and has gotten good reviews. So far it is very very interesting. |

Marriage. Marriage is what brings us together -- today. Marriage--that blessed arrangement. That dream -- within a dream.

Giving and receiving?
Mule-Anne, it sounds like a fascinating book. Thank you for mentioning it -- though I'm unlikely to be able to read it any time soon.
