Anyone besides me think that the timeout should be set to something a bit longer?
Sometimes I start typing a post and then get called away at work or take a break for food or whatever. When I return, I've timed out, though there's nothing on the screen that shows this until I finish my post and click "submit post." Then I find out I'm no longer logged in, and after I login my entire post is lost.

I wasn't even aware that this was going on. I will run some tests in my lab and get back with you on this ever so peculiar issue, Watson.
How long would you say it takes for it to time out? It might be a browser issue, cause that should be set in the cookies. Do you check the box "remember me" when you log in?? |

I don't normally use the "remember me" option, as I don't always necessarily want to login under the same ID as the last time I was on. Perhaps I'l try that and see if it fixes the problem, however.

I'm almost sure that's what it is. Give it a shot and if that doesn't work, I'll tinker with it. When you have multiple ids on the same computer, it can confuse the cookies.
