3 SB victories in 4 years and a 20 (?) game win streak are both very impressive.

Were the early 90s Cowboys a dynasty?

If not, then what NFL team has EVER had a dynasty? Are Pittsburgh's 4 SBs over 6 years really that different than 3 over 4 years?

I see no reason to view this season much different than their year off in 2002. Lots of injuries are a great reason to not make it. They have some oldsters, but they have some great young players, too.

They will proabbaly still win that division that isn't all that strong, but Bardy's string of undefeated post seasons comes to an end this year.

Anyone who doesn't think the 3 in 4 years is a dynasty, just doesn;t pay much attention to football. So for the 3 who voted no, go back to wathcing soccer.

Saved for posterity ... he insults people while not being able to type.

And they shouldn't have even have been in the first SB, and the last two they won by a FG ... hardly a dominant team.

Most dynasties get lucky at least 1 playoff game. Sure they should have lost to Oakland, that tuck rule was ludicrous. But anyone who disputes the dynasty label has gotten in to 2pac’s stash.

How do they stack up against the other dynasties is a different question. Personally, I’d rank them at the low end of the dynasty scale but a dynasty they are/were.

They missed the playoffs entirely in the year inbetween .. confirming that the SB the year before was a fluke. Have they been the best team the past 2 years, sure. But 2 years does not make a dynasty.

They missed the playoffs on tie breaker rules, hardly a collapse of epic proportions. It’s not like they went 3-13. You may say they aren't a dynasty because they beat your precious Eagles but to win 3 super bowls in 4 years and not even lose 1 playoff game over the whole stretch is pretty impressive, especially in the salary cap era where it is hard to keep a good team together for any length of time.

I’d rank them below the 80s Niners, 70s/80s Steelers, 90s Cowboys and 60s Packers in recent dynasties.
