It was fun! It's always kind of funny for me to have my family and my ao friends all together in an XBL chat... My worlds are colliding...

I've become a HUGE fan of XBLA. I think I would love for more short, unique, fun $10-20 downloadables than big AAA retail games.

Some of my favorite games this generation have been of the "arcade" downloadable variety:

Super Meat Boy
Shadow Complex (when is a sequel coming to this one?!?)
Super Stardust HD
Walking Dead Episode 1
'Splosion Man
Costume Quest
Limbo

And even some I haven't played enough to give a full opinion on, but I've enjoyed my time with:

Fez
Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet
Bastion

Don't get me wrong, I'm very much looking forward to halo 4 and AC3, but I have very little remaining interest in sports games...
I stick to gears, AC, L4D, Halo and the random game or so

So, you haven't played the Mass Effect series? Bioshock? GTA? Hitman? Devil May Cry? Fallout? Arkham Asylum & City? Resident Evil? Elder Scrolls? That's just scratching the surface.

Only fun if your teammates aren't total imbeciles though. I'd be up for a L4D night someday.

I haven't played L4D in a long time. That would be fun! Can you have more than 4 people play at once? That seems to be the issue when I get online... not everyone can fit into a game...

That still leaves Bioshock, GTA, Hitman, DMC, Batman, and Resident Evil.

It seems like you enjoy shooting games, I love Bioshock and would recommend it. You can probably pick up the first one for $10-$15.

I'm pretty sure you can do up to 8 with 2 teams playing against eachother. One team is the survivors and one is the zombies.
