A quick way to lose a Grand

I was playing sunday using the Party beta software my usual games. I had decided to take a quick break and watch some TV in the bedroom with my girlfriend. Thinking I would be back in like half an hour I left the computer on and all my stuff open including poker tracker and party. Unfortunatly I somehow managed to fall asleep exceptionally early for me around like 11:00 pm est.

Around 3:45 AM I woke up and went to use the bathroom which has 2 doors 1 to the bedroom the other to the computer room. I would have gone right back to bed but just before I flushed the toilet I heard the sound of poker chips coming out of the computer room.

I thought maybe I had left the Stars 215 open cause I was watching the final 3 tables briefly before I fell asleep. So I went into the computer room but saw a 6max party table was open. As I sat at my chair to see what was actually going on I saw I was sitting at the the table and it was a $600 NL table. Then I saw my mouse cursor move and I clicked the raise button. Obviously this freaked me out entirely and when it was my turn on the flop I grabbed my mouse clicked check and then just shut the table.

I quickly checked my account balance and saw that alot of money was missing checked poker tracker and it looks like im down about a grand. I freaked out shut off the computer and paced around my house for 20 or so minutes. After I regained my senses I turned the comp back on and started a virus scan. I did not have a firewall running and remote access is disabled on my computer.

Oddly enough I am very thankful that I woke up when I did he only managed to play 30 hands. If I woke up another 30 minutes later I probably wouldnt have any money left.

The virus scan is still currently running and I have 19 infected files at this point. Im sure they are some nasty trojans which I will enjoy cleaning up. Lesson for all be more serious about your internet security it can cost you alot.

I thought it might be chip dumping but after checking the Hand history looks like he was just enjoying playing with my money. Ill let you all decide.
