as always, hopeful that this willl be day one of a long string.

same 3 mile run again yesterday. except 45 seconds faster.

2 does not make it a habit yet. I have another week or so of that before I can claim I've been running. but I am hoping I can get 8 more runs in before the end of March. If I can do that, then I'll be in position to claim I can run again.

If that happens, the weight will come off. need the wheels to stay together.

3 miles in sub-20 tonight. perfect temps and night time (i run faster in the dark).

on the 14th I hoped for 8 more runs before the end of the month. only 2 of those have been done. will be lucky to get the number to 7. have not yet run back to back, so it might not even be possible if I keep that rule.

have not been on a scale in a while. have gotten on the bike some, but that is relatively low intensity. so far I feel good though.

another run today. this time 4+ miles. it was warm (mid to upper 60's at least).

hardest thing is finding the time, along with the need to not have eaten for a few hours. makes the time with the family tense when I am passing on meals, then getting grumpy bc I am hungry, then getting grumpier still when the clock strikes midnight and I didn't get out yet.

(plantar issues make running first thing almost impossible. need to be up and stretched for at least an hour, and so to run and still get to work at regular time isn't possible right now.)

5 runs so far in march. hoping to get 3 more this week. maybe even as many as 12 miles. that would give me 27 for March, with real hope of getting 45 in april. (I am so far from that as a plausible weekly total it makes me sad.)

had 3 more runs before end of month, as desired. distances were a combined 15 miles, and that was more than I had hoped for. just found a person who would drag me a little past what I had thought on two of the days.

also got on a scale after the third day. not good times. I was sitting at a -2 from fattest point of reference. April will be a month for me to monitor. oddly, I seem to be able to handle 7min pace (or even faster) for the runs. The person who dragged me longer took me on a 7 mile run at 7 min pace, and I didn't die. I was even able to run the next day (only 3, but still).

March ends with 30 miles total I guess. Goal for April is 45, possibly more, but 45 to start. also hoping for losing another pound from this fatassed frame.

7 minute miles?

You may be fat but you aren't slow!

Goal for april was 45 miles. preferably in 12-15 runs.

so far, I have 3 runs, and 12 miles. feeling OK. fat and slow, but otherwise fine. hoping the LBs come falling off me soon.
