With everyone creating/bumping threads through the new year, I'll try to jump back on the wagon. Fell WAY off after September or so, and probably hit my highest weight ever last night. Went to bed, woke up and found myself 8lbs. lighter. So, if I fall asleep for the next 3 days, I should be in shape.

In all seriousness - it's back to almost zero fast-food and a lot more fruits, vegetables and "good" carbs". And a lot more exercise will probably do me good.

I know , but mass-energy equivalence can't possibly account for the loss of 8 pounds...Where did it go?? Was there a wet spot in your bed when you woke up?

Think of it like a movie. The Torah is the first one, and the New Testament is the sequel. Then the Qu'ran comes out, and it retcons the last one like it never happened. There's still Jesus, but he's not the main character anymore, and the messiah hasn't shown up yet.

Jews like the first movie but ignored the sequels, Christians think you need to watch the first two, but the third movie doesn't count, Moslems think the third one was the best, and Mormons liked the second one so much they started writing fanfiction that doesn't fit with ANY of the series canon."

No, but do you think I'm going to question an unexpected weight loss?

I'll take it and run with it. Had a cinnamon raisin bagel & orange juice this morning, and a 1/2 bowl of mixed, chopped fruit (strawberries, mango, pineapple, pears, etc.) & a little sausage in a blanket at a mini "celebration" in the office.

Yeah what's a mini "celebration" anyway? All my celebrations are BIG ones. Always takes me at least a good half hour, sometimes longer.

Now that I think about it, maybe that's why I don't need to lose weight.

Man, I really had to dig around for this thread. 1/2/2007?

One thought this morning: I assume Total (the cereal) is good for you. Is it possible to actually get through a whole bowl? I feel like throwing up the rest by the last bite. Or do I file that under "hunger control"?

Just think if you WEREN'T eating total. You'd have to eat 12 bowls of the leading brand just to equal the vitamins and minerals in one bowl of total. Believe it.

yeah, but you'd have to eat 100,000 bowls of total to equal the fiber power of super colon blow.

Ok, if ever I needed motivation or inspiration from another human being, this is it: http://www.ronlesteronline.com/index.php

I'm assuming you all have seen the movie Varsity Blues. Well, that's Billy Bob. Minus 320 pounds.
