Give me Seattle and 3.5. I think it will be a very close game.

I see it as pretty even, I would have taken whoever was the underdog

It opened at +4 last night and I immediately took the Seahawks. Should at least be a fun game to watch. They are both good all-around football teams.

I was thinking that too, then I started to wonder, how many prior SBs did the dog lose but cover the spread? Seams to me a lot of SBs have either been blowouts or the dog won outright.

I remember SB XIII was known as black sunday by the bookies when the Steelers beat the Cowboys 35-31. The line was Steelers by 4 at game time time but most peoplewho bet the Boys did so at better than +4 and the Steelers at less than -4 as the line changed leading up to the game.

True, but for lack of any other intuition as to who will win, I'll take the points as a buffer.

I think Pittsburg will win out right. Seattle benefitted largely by getting homefield advantage because of the weaker Conference. Detroit will be neutral territory.
Pittsburg's defense completely shut down the Colts and the Broncos, I don't see Seattle being any different. Pittsburg also moved the ball with ease against the Broncos who supposedly had a great defense. I think Pittsburg is prime to win the game. Besides... what better way to end Jerome Bettis' career.
