Default Senator saves Opponent's Life

I guess politicians don't always want to kill each other.

"Giannetti said he had no idea who Rosapepe was when he stumbled into the bar at Maria's Sicilian Ristorante and Cafe. Rosapepe was choking, and Giannetti grabbed him and dislodged a piece of fish that was stuck in his windpipe."

I hope they don't mean that he was literally stumbling.

I hate to be the cynical one, but...

Frist saves a man on a highway.
This Dem saves a guy 'dying' while eating.
I'm sure there are more.

Has anyone else ever had the opportunity to save a life (non-combat), in a restaurant or road trip? Pols get the chance pretty often.

Politicians spend most of there waking life around other people - usually as many people as they can. How does that relate to the actuarial profession?

I think the choking man stumbled from the dining room into the bar.

Bad ambiguous writing.

C+!

I dunno, hearing about a doctor saving some random guy pops up from time to time. It's believable that Frist had the same opportunity. As for the choking thing, I've performed the heimlich before, so I believe that, too.

Okay. Could be, the odds just seem astronomical. The only health problems I can recall at a bar/rest. have been self-imposed. (a little too much...)
