I'm trying to decide if this sounds more like the chase scene from E.T. or any scene from The Benny Hill Show.

E.T. cause you don't have the little old man in a trench coat running around trying to grope the cute young girls.

Wile E. Coyote, Supergenius has always been my favorite Looney Toons character. Must be his near invulnerability and perseverance.

Good point, but there were also no flying bicycles mentioned in the article, either.

No Phil, it was a thoughtful, insightful post that further contributed to the humorous theme of this thread, instilling in people's heads hilarious images of bumbling fool authorities chasing someone or something back-and-forth across a park, just like on TV or in movies. You must have me confused with that Gummy dude.

p.s. could someone please quote this so Phil and everyone else can see it? Thanks!

Good story. I had coyotes in my back woods growing up and would love to see one in Central Park.
