Do Indian employers consider CAS/SOA exams? or only ASI exams?

There are quite a few people at GenPact (GE's analytical team in Gurgaon) taking CAS exams. So are some people at Deloitte and Touche's group in Hyderabad. No one that I know of is near part 8, though.

Rup11...yeah there are some captives of insureres who prefer to go for CAS/IOA instead of ASI...Genpact, Delloit to name few...
