Haelp!
Let's say your birthday is October 1. You buy a policy April 1. You are 35 when you buy the policy. The policy stays in force 13 years and 5 months.

x=[ANB at issue]+[curtate duration at DOD]
x=36[your age at issue +1]+13[# of whole years policy has been in force when you die]=49

i roughly know which part i really suck in the paper; it's those rate interval things, and probably harder questions of Markov processes and mortality stuffs.

Thanks Enough-exams and celtic kid. enough-exams explanation is clear for this case, but i'm very sure, that somehow if i see another for of that, i'll get confuse again. hope u wont mind me posting more questions here in future.

You might be better off posting exam-or subject-related questions on www.actedoffice.com/forums.
