"I'm in a sad mood tonight,
I'm in a sa-a-ad mood,
I'm in a sad mood tonight,
my baby done gone away and left me,
my baby done gone." - Sam Cooke

Be very careful with this, but sometimes when I'm blue a sad song actually cheers me up. Don't know why. Maybe it's just knowing that someone felt close to the same way at one time and thought enough to make it into a song. Of course, the wrong sad song can make you feel worse.

Hope you feel better soon.

You need to watch the "Everybody Loves Raymond" episode where Ray's wife is trying to explain why she was crying, and Ray is just positive it was his fault!

Don't watch that show, but it sounds like it doesn't pertain to me. Nothing is ever my fault.

I'm having one of those days. A day that I wish I could either start over or hide from. I'd give anything to go home, crawl under the covers and not come out until things got better. Heh, that could be a long, long while. I need a good, sappy, chick-flick and a pint of cookie-dough ice cream!

Nothing I do is right these days. Can a sista catch a break?!?!!?
I have a solution, one that I do at least twice a week.

Take a stroll over to the water (or a short drive, I think you work close to the water but in Fl it can't be that far) and watch the Manatees and Dolphins play. Have lunch, and let your worries disapear for an hour.

If you can't find any marine mammal by you, take a drive down here (I know a good spot) I'd even buy lunch (as part of our "take an actuary to lunch" program).

Man, I would LOVE to be able to go watch manatees or dolphins during lunch! Where I am, my choices are pretty much pigeons or squirrels.....
