Default I think 1.2 mil sounds fair

FRESNO, California (AP) -- Lawyers for a woman spanked in front of co-workers as part of what her employer said was a team-building exercise asked a jury Wednesday for at least $1.2 million for the humiliation she says she suffered.
I wonder what she would do i given the choice between working full time and getting spanked once a year . . .

It's clearly excessive and will be reduced upon appeal.

Getting spanked once a year? 1.2M (tax free?) could last me 10 years, at least.

At this point, it hasn't even been awarded yet. That's what her lawyer is asking for.

Instead of focusing on what she got, think of how well this works to deter. Aren't you a death penalty fan? If so, surely you believe harsh punishments deter certain actions.
