Somebody at Draco's company was very naughty and posted something very bad (think troll) two days ago (I don't know what it was).

The message was deleted, and they blocked that user, by blocking messages from the user's ISP server. Since Draco has the same ISP server, he is also blocked. I fear we'll never see Draco here again. ;( There goes all our fun and games, WC vs the World contests!

I'm sure he'll have something to say about it when the WC reopens.

[Technical Geek Note Follows]

It's actually not an ISP address. It's an IP (Internet Protocol) address. ISPs handout IPs to users.

So if I were signing on via att.net (which I'm not) and got banned (which I don't plan on), other att.net users wouldn't get banned. Even I wouldn't be banned, other than having to re-register, since dial-ups give you a different IP address every time you connect.

What I think happened to Draco was that someone else at his company acted up and got the company's IP address banned. Since most large companies have permanent IP addresses, this does work to keep the ban-ee away, but it also bans everyone else from the same company. Again, this is speculation--I have not talked about this with Traci.

I've heard from Draco, and he confirms what Obi said.

He's trying to recruit one of the chicks to run the contest for him...after being involved in one of his games in the past...I'm a little hesitant to get involved!

The solution seems obvious: Draco needs to find a new job.

Anyone else from the WC willing to trade Ammie to the Rebel Forum for Andy Lang? Steve White seems anxious to deal.

I think after reading some of Andy's posts, we all agree we prefer Ammie (even BEFORE reading his posts! )

How about trading Kimi instead of Andy? I would feel infinitely less secure over here though if that happened.

No go on the Ammie trade. I can't think of a single thing you've got over here that would convince me to part with her!

I think they're in line for the movie.

Sad thing is, it's for the second showing.
