Great observation

That was the whole reason I did it. I had just doubled up on a questionable call by me on the hand before and wanted to solidify a nutso image at the table. Then I hit "don't show" by accident.

lol..the real trick is to play every hand identical - ie you select a bet amount based on position, pot size, etc.....your cards aren't even in the decision

eg - early sng I raise every pot either 3x or approximately the size of the pot if I'm reraising/raising limpers. That just means i chose to raise, and I could be doing a few different things off the raise, but the amount won't key you in.

Phil Gordon: "What a GREAT play, it's moves like that which separate the men from the boys at NL. He's not even playnig the cards he's playng the table!"

Had you lost the hand I'd pull announcement #2 out.

You do realize the publically stated reason Phil is leaving the show is 'cause he is getting tired of watching celebreties play horribly, right?

So read between the lines.....he is getting tired of filling 2 hours of mind numbing compliments since he obviously can't sit there for 2 hours and rip on these guys.

That show is for entertainment...not strategy. I truly hope you don't watch it for the latter.

Well, to be fair, it is pretty darn hard to watch it for the former too.
