Hey all, I wrote this song about my stats prof a while back, I figure some people might get a laugh out of it. It's called "My Love is Discrete".
http://www.files.bz/files/2010/discrete.mp3 Here's the link ... you may have to click on "save as..", or maybe it's just my comp. Here are some lyrics: Oh professor, I've got a confession With discrete mathematics I've got an obsession Oh cutie Rudie, can I ask you a question Oh please pretty professor, won't you teach me a lesson Teach me how to pick and choose About ones and twos About stacks and queues Six ways of rolling a seven and one in eighteen says you'll throw an eleven My heart races every time we meet But it's not for you. My love, my love is discrete Sometimes in math and in life you've got to make a selection 'Cause you can point your zero vector any direction Mathematics majors make me melt with affection Incorrectly counting combinations causes depression Professor, I can not decipher your codes now So tell me: what's the nearest neighbour in this network of nodes now? My heart races every time we meet But it's not for you. My love, my love is discrete ![]() |
