I am about to start my first job after graduating college and I was just wondering how much (approximately) a 23 year old should expect to pay for health insurance (and dental) with a consulting firm.
If there are other threads on this subject, just post them. Searching for "Health Insurance Costs" on an actuary message board doesn't really yield what I want |

The bigger the firm the lower the cost should be.
Single person: somewhere from $0 to $200 per paycheck. I'm 95% confident the answer lies in this range. Depends heavily on the benefits offered. Smaller firms likely will have lower benefits. Larger firms are competing for employees and offer better benefits and pay for a higher percentage of them

Don't subsidize the sick. You're young and presumably healthy. Get the cheapest plan they offer. You could probably get it for less than $40 a month.
