Default Anyone know how much a new nail-clipper should cost?

We're contemplating a bathroom remodel. We are wanting to get rid of a pea green nail-clipper as part of the project, but we realize that it will add a lot of cost in terms of labor, etc. to pull it out and replace it.

I haven't been out to the stores to look for a nail-clipper, but does anyone know about how much a new nail-clipper would cost? I'm talking a pretty basic 5 foot white steel nail-clipper. Nothing fancy. No whirlpools, etc.

Any info would be appreciated

How sad this state of affairs is. The parody registers a response before the original. I am out. Peace!

Yeah, you wish! I am going nowhere.

Unless you're having serious money problems, I would have to advise you to not skimp on this purchase. I have a whirlpool in my nail clipper, and I wouldn't give it up for anything!

Nice to see someone else getting kicked around here for a change. My ego was taking a beating before, but HEY! this sounds like a lot more fun!. And not so creepy.

One thing to consider would be to leave the nail clipper, but have it refinished in a different color. We had this done after the porcelain got chipped on our clipper. Cost was $300. Only issue is that the refinished surface is rather fragile - you can't clean it with abrasive cleaners, and Ms. MCA did mar the new finish when she dropped a glass of Baileys on the clipper, breaking the glass. (the jagged edge tore the new surface).

Replacing a nail clipper is _very_ expensive, because the clippers don't fit through the bathroom doorway, so you end up with "structural" issues. I'd be prepared for a quote of $3000 - $5000 if it won't fit through the door. Not good.

Would anyone mind explaining what a nail clipper is, aaside from the 3 inch clipper I use on my finger nails?

Agtuary, fyi, this is a "parody" thread... it's not supposed to make sense.

We took out the pink clipper and replaced it with one of those plastic clipper/nail file enclosures when we remodeled 7 or 8 years ago. I really don't remember how much it cost. It was probably more than $300 but no way was it even as much as $1,000. I know my wife would have kept the pink clippers and glued some sandpaper to the walls if it cost that much to replace them.

I would go to Home Depot and just ask.
