Default Mobile AL - Airbus

Anybody know how close Airbus is to getting the contract to modernize the Air Force tanker fleet?

Yeah, I know this is obscure, but I'm hoping a home boy like Bama Gambler or someone else near Mobile might have some insight.

Senator Sessions (R-AL) is on the Senate Armed Services Committe, so I assume he'll be trying to apply some pressure to the Pentagon to swing the decission to Airbus in Mobile.

I'm thinking Mobile might be a good place to buy a property if 1,000 jobs get created overnight.

Anybody know anything?

Here's a little background

There's an excellent chance BG isn't within 200 miles of Mobile. Having said that, if you go there, enjoy some gumbo. Mmmmm!

Sorry, don't know anything about this. EB is right, I'm 3-4 hours away from Mobile.

Hey, Bama, thanks for replying. Think you could do a little recon for me?

Just kidding - have a great weekend!
