I hate when I double-click something but the computer processes the clicks too slowly and thinks I want to rename it ... yeah, I really want to rename my floppy disk drive, thanks.

I just had to drive home in about 7 inches of snow, but that's not what annoys me. What really annoys me are the people who refuse to slow down, or who ride really close on your bumper. They apparently haven't heard that you are supposed to allow extra room between you and other cars! There were a couple of times where I felt like I might slide, and some idiot was right on my butt. If you'd just have some patience and give everyone room, we'd all get home safely!

Same experience here - I think we almost had a 6-car pileup (with me in the lead) when I exited the interstate last night (8:30ish). Come on, people, we cannot take the exit ramp at 40 mph when it's covered with snow. I admit that I drive slowly in this weather - my car sits very low to the ground and I don't trust it to handle well - but it was unreal how many people were approaching me quickly from behind and then would swerve over into the left lane at the last minute - a couple of trucks w/plows included. I cannot believe how fast people are driving in this weather - no wonder there were so many reports of accidents and slideoffs yesterday.

So I was driving home last night in this fine new powder, and who do I come upon but some chick in a slowmobile! Man, I had to ride right on her bumper so I could get around her faster. If you idiots who don't know how to drive in the snow all want to get in one lane and have your slow party without me, fine. Just don't be blocking my left lane because you think I need to go slower. I tapped her a couple of times to see if she'd skid out of the way, but no luck.
Slowskys. Sheesh.

I was in the far right lane, so it wasn't me.

It must have been me. Somebody did zip around me out in Greenwood, where highway 135 has just one lane in each direction.

Several years ago, in Charlotte, we (hubby and I) were on the freeway right after a rare snow-fall. One guy zipped past us, hit a slippery patch and spun out. I held my breath until we were past him. Fortunately, there were no injuries that I know of, except to the other driver's pride.

Who invented wind? I'd like to give them a talking to.

Was it Thomas Edison, maybe? I know he invented a lot of stuff.

Redundancy annoys me.

A sentence from an email I received:

Please be prepared for the meeting next week because we have missed two consecutive weeks in a row.
