Some, but the book (should you choose to read it) explicitly mentions life differences and it's not like someone in life or health would have any trouble with the P&C-specific stuff. The one big section that is really focused on P&C covers the cyclic history of the business.

It also included every conceivable formula from the course, not just from the TVM chapters. This really saved me, since I way underprepared---by a planning failure of historic proportions, I scheduled it one week before my 1/P date.
Does anyone know where to find this formula sheet on the website (or if it exists)? I can never remember the various ratio formulas, or is knowing this not even necessary?

There's one on the demo app, but it doesn't match what Candidus said is on there now. The demo app just has the TVM equations (and tables).

registering for CPCU for oct/dec sitting, and it asked me if I am requesting CE to be filled, what did you guys choose? I think it's for the CPCU program, so it has nothing to do with me doing it for VEE right?

Well I passed with very minimal studying. I can't say I was very confident when I clicked submit, but I pulled it off.

Just VEE Macro then ASA. Wooooo.

Please elaborate on "minimal studying" -- 10 hours? 50 hours? Also, which study materials did you specifically use?

For the Macroeconomics VEE, you can take CLEP, see CLEP=CAKE thread

I took micro last Thursday and taking macro this Monday.

Can you post a timeline of your various tests and vees for Asa? I am trying to fast-track the exams and want some data points.

I passed the prelims in a year and a half, FAP took almost a year because I slacked off and moved to a new city, and the VEEs will have added another two months.

If I were to do it again, I'd do the VEEs while doing FAP since having the VEEs hold you up for ASA is pretty silly.

Someone else may be able to help you out there. I don't have one.
