I just got word that the only ASA in our office will not be available to protoctor on Jan 10th. Anyone else taking Finance on Jan 10th in SF area and have a protoctor I could use? I need to register by the 20th!!!

If you read the information on the NEAS website, it says you can have a company officer or manager proctor the exam if no SOA/CAS members are available. It also says the NEAS will help you find a proctor at another company if necessary.

NEAS is pretty lax about their proctor requirements. I emailed them a while ago about the fact that I am not yet employed in the actuarial field and therefore did not have anyone to proctor the exam for me. They told me that someone at my school could do it, "preferably the principal or librarian". Of course I decided that was not a good idea. I'm sure if they would allow that, they would allow just about anyone in your office to do it.

OK great! Thank you so much for your responses. I will try to check again with someone else at work on Monday. I just paniced on Friday when I got the news and feel much better now after reading these replys.
Well of to the library now with less distractions thank goodness. |
