DEFENSE wins championships. Manning will choke. I see this game being very similar to the Pittsburgh - Indi game a year ago (except for the Bettis fumble that nearly cost them). Manning will be pressured and will rush his throws.

Baltimore will learn from KC's horrible gameplan a week ago. They will come out and run a bunch of playaction passes much like the Steelers did a year ago.

Yeah I expect Mark Clayton to have a huge game

I second this prediction.

Last week Manning and the Colts learned that he doesn't need to be perfect to win in the playoffs. This will take a lot of pressure off of him

I think the Colts will win, but Baron's statement is laughable. Guess he forgot about the Broncos. Denver had the #7 and #5 defense in 2003 and 2004, when we smacked them down by 31 and 25 respectively.

Man, I was at both of those game. Unreal. One of those was the best NFL game I've ever been too. They really run together in my mind so I can't remember the year (the one where they had 35 by halftime). That place was incredibly loud. Too bad they went on to lay eggs against the Pats both years after that.

Top defenses aren't just YPG rankings, IMO. Their ranking for PPG wasn't nearly as high. NE and Philly are 2 teams that usually don't rank nearly as high in YPG as PPG. I personally wouldn't put those Denver Ds near the likes of NE, Pitt or Balt.

How many times have we all thought the same thing? However, IMO the Colts being an underdog works in their favor.

Billick has been working on this game for one week already. He'll obviously review PITs domination. On the other hand, I can't foresee Dungy/Manning failing the exact same way on offense 2 years in a row. They've got to learn from last year, right? Looking forward to it. No prediction this early in the week.

I'm envisioning a Vinateri miss of a late FG in 2 weeks vs NE.

This is honestly the first time I have felt this way since seeing him choke away every Florida game when he was at Tennessee. Something about his demeanor last week, cracking jokes about the Ty Law interceptions, makes me think he knows he didn't get it done but is free rolling thanks to Trent Green and the Chiefs.

Didn't Harrison catch a pass in one of those games, and dive to the ground and not get touched by a defender. He then got up and ran into the endzone. That was funny.
