The title says it all. The Actuarial Science University Map is now updated with a new look. We’ve also added our friends over at the University of Florida Actuarial Science Program. If we’ve overlooked your school, send Tom a PM or an email and ask him to include your school on the map. Be sure to include your schools information, such as the name, website, departmental contact along with contact information such as email, phone number, and address.
It’s still a work in progress. The list of schools that is on the right hand side of the screen will be collapsible and if I can think of any more bells and whistles to add to it, you can be sure to see those on there soon, as well.

University of Calgary is missing, as is Simon Fraser University in Vancouver.

Thanks Nick. I’ll add U of C to the list, as well as Temple University, Ohio State, and University at Albany.
Are there any other’s I’ve left off the list? If so, leave a comment with the school’s name and the department’s website url, and I’ll update the map.
Thanks,
Tom

Looks great. One question - what (if any) is the significance of the red flags versus the blue flags?
Tom on 17 Sep 2007 at 10:39 am #
Hey Alberto,
The red flag means the school offers an actuarial science major, the blue flag means the school has an actuarial science minor or masters program, but don’t have an actuarial science undergraduate major. I’ll put a map key up to clear up any confusion.
Thanks,
Tom
