I rank Microsoft Excel as #1.  Still an excellent tool due to its flexibility, ease of use, and widespread acceptance.  I am wondering what other programs are useful to know.  For example, I hear about the following computer programs: SAS, R, Python, SQL.  And I have used JCL with old IBM mainframe computers at a large US insurer in the past.  Anyway, wondering if anyone has opinions about which one(s) are most worthy of spending time on to increase one’s skill set.  Obviously this will vary from employer to employer.  In case it matters, I am an ACAS so property casualty or data science are the relevant areas of work.

Hello! You need to choose based on the employer’s requirements. Given your field of work, it may be useful to focus on improving your skills in SAS, R and Python. I also want to add a few words about programs and services for students. Now there is a very heavy load on students in all subjects to write essays and this online service https://www.dnpcapstoneproject.com/ is a solution to the problems. These three languages are particularly popular in the field of data science and can provide you with a wide range of possibilities for data analysis, modeling and machine learning.
