I’m in the US, working on my P&C-related CE requirements for the first time. I don’t need to do SAOs.
As I understand it, I’m supposed to satisfy the AAA requirements as described here: https://www.actuary.org/content/us-qualification-standards (and also here: https://www.casact.org/professional-education/continuing-education-policy).
So my question is this:
Can I roll over continuing education hours from one year to the next?
This random presentation from 2012 seems to suggest that I can, but I don’t see any other reference to that: https://www.casact.org/professional-education/continuing-education-policy

Yes, I believe you can roll over hours from one year to the next, but for two years down the road. This means that you can use 23 hours for 24 but not for 2025
This is a great question! Navigating CE requirements can definitely feel like a maze, especially the first time around. I’ve also found some of these policy documents can be a bit dense. The rollover question is a common one, and I agree, finding clear, consistent answers isn’t always easy. It almost makes you want to just play some Drift Hunters to clear your head! Hopefully someone with direct experience can shed some light on the current rules for you.
