I am still a college student, and I am planning on taking MAS-1 this spring. Because all the prior exams are with the SOA, is there anything I have to do to legitimize those with the CAS before signing up for MAS-1? How does that process work of proving I’ve completed the first 3 preliminary exams?

All you need to do is create an account on the CAS Website to sign up for MAS I.
You can submit your SOA transcript to the CAS office at ARC@casact.arg, along with a simple form http://www.casact.org/admissions/Exam%20Status%20Changes.pdf but you do not need to do this before signing up for MAS I.
