I am used to determining life mortality for general cases, but I have an outstanding request for life expectancy for a specific individual based on specific 5 or so comorbidities. Searching online, there are hits for NCI Comorbidity Index 2014 & Charlson Index 2014. Has anyone used these? Are these legitimate or is there a better source.  I am somewhat uncomfortable with this idea of life expectancy for an individual instead of a generic person with group characteristics. Another challenge is I don’t have access to SAS which seems to be the way these 2 tables work off of.
