      Hi,

I am trying to better understand how annuity valuation rates are calculated and what index is used in the calculation. I see it listed as the Moody’s composite corporate bond yield, and an average over 36 or 12 months depending on the basis (Issue date vs Change in Fund).

Is there data for the Moody’s composite bond yield available online? Is it available on Bloomberg? I am familiar with the indices that track AAA bond yields (Moody’s AAA seasoned corporate bond index), AA etc .but not this index.

      Thanks

      M
