I passed GHDP in July 2020 as a written answer exam. I plan on taking GHFVU in May 2021, but it’s offered as a CBT. I’ve never taken a CBT, since I received ASA in 2007 and recently decided to try for FSA again. Should I try doing the practice problems on a computer?

Hi Brian.  Just wanted to say hello.  Best of luck getting back into exams.  Been a while since we crossed paths.

Hi, Michael.  Your name is sounding familiar, but I’m having a hard time placing you.  Did we go to school together?

Wait!  Were you once an employee or intern at HealthNow?

There are some practice problems on the SOA’s website, along with a walkthrough of Prometric’s computer experience.  The biggest difference is that you’re doing the math and writing in Excel and Word.  From my experience, it’s an upgrade from the written test.

Thanks, Leanne.  I have been doing practice problems in Excel, and will continue to.
